Understanding analytics

Make sense of reach, engagement, and growth so you can double down on what works.

Analytics turn your activity into insight. Here's what each number means and how to act on it.

Headline metrics

  • Reach — how many unique people saw your content. Growing reach means your distribution is expanding.
  • Engagement — likes, comments, shares, and saves. High engagement signals content that resonates.
  • Engagement rate — engagement divided by reach. A better quality signal than raw counts.
  • Follower growth — net new followers over the selected period.

Reading the charts

  • The engagement chart shows trends over time. Look for spikes and check what you posted that day.
  • The platform breakdown shows where your audience is most active so you can prioritize.
  • The posting heatmap reveals which days and times perform best.

Top posts

Your best-performing posts are surfaced automatically. Study them for patterns — format, topic, length, hashtags — and repeat what works.

Choosing a date range

Use the date-range picker to compare periods. Comparing this month to last is often more useful than absolute numbers.

Analytics populate once your connected accounts have published posts. New accounts may take a day or two to backfill historical data.
