Engagement prediction

Predict how a post will perform before you publish it

Orbin scores your draft from 0 to 100, estimates likes, comments and shares, and tells you what to change to improve it.

Engagement prediction scores a draft post from 0 to 100 before you publish and estimates its likes, comments and shares. It combines your account’s past performance, the draft’s own characteristics and a Claude quality assessment, and returns a confidence level, insights and suggestions.

Step by step

How engagement prediction works

1

Write your draft

Compose the post as usual, with its media and hashtags, and pick the account it is for.

2

Run a prediction

Click Predict engagement. It runs on demand and uses one AI credit.

3

Read the score

You get a 0–100 score, estimated likes, comments and shares, and a confidence level.

4

Improve and re-check

Apply the insights and suggestions, then predict again to see whether the changes helped.

What you get

What Engagement Prediction includes

Built on your own account’s history

The estimate draws on how that connected account’s earlier posts performed, plus the best posting times it can infer, rather than generic averages alone.

Content and hashtag analysis

Orbin analyzes the draft itself — its length, structure and hashtags — and flags problems such as running past the platform’s character limit.

A quality read from Claude

A Claude assessment of the writing feeds into the score, alongside the data-driven signals.

Specific suggestions

Every prediction comes with plain-language insights and suggestions, so the score tells you what to fix, not just what you got.

Honest about what a prediction is

  • An estimate, with a confidence level. Predictions are estimates. Orbin reports a confidence level with each one so you can weigh it accordingly.
  • Runs only when you ask. Predictions never run in the background. You choose which drafts to check, and each run uses an AI credit.

Good to know

  • A prediction is a guide to compare drafts and spot weak points, not a guarantee of results.
  • Accounts with more post history give the model more to work with.
  • Engagement prediction is not included on Starter.
  • Pair it with Orbin’s analytics to check predictions against what actually happened.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you really predict social media engagement?+

Orbin produces an estimate, not a guarantee. It combines your account’s history, the draft’s characteristics and a Claude quality assessment into a 0–100 score with estimated likes, comments and shares, and states its confidence.

What does the engagement score mean?+

It is a 0–100 rating of how well the draft is likely to perform for that account. Higher is better; use it to compare versions of a post and see what to improve.

Does it use my past posts?+

Yes. Orbin considers how the connected account’s earlier posts performed, along with the draft itself and best-time analysis.

Does a prediction cost AI credits?+

Yes. Each prediction uses one AI credit and only runs when you click Predict.

Which plans include it?+

Professional, Business, and Enterprise. It is not available on Starter. See the pricing page for details.
