When Orbin generates a photo for a post, anyone who saves it can reuse it elsewhere — on their own site, in an ad, in someone else's feed — unless it carries some sign of whose it is. Watermarking adds that: your logo and business name, composited onto the image itself.
What it looks like
Orbin composites a soft gradient fade rising from the bottom edge of the photo, tinted with your workspace's secondary brand color — no solid shape stamped on top, just enough of a scrim for your logo (bottom right) and business name (bottom left) to sit on legibly. It's rendered directly onto the image, not drawn by the AI model itself, so it always stays crisp and legible.
If you haven't uploaded a logo, the fade still shows your business name on its own — you get some protection even before you've set up a full brand kit.
Turn it on
Watermarking is off by default. To turn it on:
- Go to Settings → Workspace.
- Scroll to the Branding card.
- Toggle Watermark AI-generated images on.
That's it — every single AI-generated image your workspace creates from then on (manually composed, or via Autopilot) carries the watermark.
Fine-tune per category (Autopilot)
Once watermarking is on, Autopilot picks an intensity automatically based on what a post is for:
- Promotional and testimonial posts get a fuller, more visible mark — they're the content most likely to get lifted and reused.
- Everything else (educational, seasonal, behind-the-scenes, and so on) gets a smaller, quieter one.
Want more control? Open Autopilot → Categories and use the watermark dropdown next to any category to override it — Auto, Subtle, Full, or No watermark for that category specifically, regardless of the workspace-wide setting.
Tip: Carousel posts (multi-image posts Orbin builds from a topic) always carry your logo when one's uploaded — that's a separate, always-on feature, not affected by this toggle.
Turning it off
Flip the same toggle back off in Settings → Workspace → Branding. Images generated after that point won't carry the watermark; anything already generated and published is unaffected.
